Dear Families,

Thank you all for your support of Pumpkin Day!  We had a great day at Walnut Square, and it was awesome to end the day with the Pumpkin Parade!  Thank you to all for your donations from classroom teachers.  Thank you to the PTO for purchasing items for Pumpkin Day, thank you to Morry and Alicia Korinow and Wilson Farms (of Lexington, MA) for donating pumpkins for each student, and thank you to the Walnut Square staff for planning and implementing an amazing day for all of our Superstars!  Another shout out to the Walnut Square PTO for organizing the Kimball Farm corn maze event!  It was so nice to spend time with staff and families there!  You can watch the highlight reel in the Walnut Square News this week:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIGLL48yv2Q

Thank you to for completing the Walnut Square’s Fall 2024 Family Feedback survey.  If you haven’t completed it yet, please take a moment to complete this brief, ten-question survey.  Your valuable feedback is greatly appreciated and shared with staff, Site Council, and PTO to improve Walnut Square School by celebrating success, identifying educational needs, and helping decision-making regarding the development of next year’s School Improvement Plan.  Your input will play a significant role and is very much appreciated!      Please click here to complete the survey. 

Walnut Square is a Title 1 School, and I hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, November 6th for our Title 1 Fall Nature Walk followed by our Title 1 Annual Meeting beginning at 4:00 pm!   This is a great opportunity for Walnut Square Families and Pentucket Families to meet.  After the hike, families are invited to attend the Title 1 Annual Meeting that will be held in the Pentucker Lake library.  To sign up for the nature walk, please click on this link:  https://forms.gle/EhYoPjwG1WnQkcHk9

The Haverhill Boys and Girls Club is hosting an afterschool Kids Club at Walnut Square.  Please click on the flyer below for more details and contact information if you are interested in enrolling your child.
