Dear Families,

Today at 9:30 am we practiced an A.L.I.C.E. school safety and emergency preparedness drill involving Walnut Square staff. The premise of the drill was an “unwanted intruder” who posed a threat to the safety of the school building.  Our goal, which was accomplished, was the reinforcement of decision making to either evacuate or shelter-in-place according to A.L.I.C.E. protocols and procedures.  Please rest assured there is no information to suggest any of the schools or children are at greater risk.  We are doing responsible planning to keep them safe.
