Family Update

Dear Families,

We have had a busy week!  Conferences went well yesterday afternoon, and it was nice to see families at Uno’s for the PTO fundraiser!  At Chris’s Farm Stand this weekend, if you buy a pumpkin there, they will donate $1.00 from every pumpkin to our school.  The address for Chris’s farm stand is:  436 Salem St, Haverhill, MA 01835.

Progress Reports and Title 1 School-Parent Compacts were sent home this week.  Please sign and return them to school as soon as possible.  Thank you!

During the school day, we encourage students to drink water.  Please send your child into school with a water bottle that can be refilled at our water bottle station.  We also appreciate if you could send your child to school with a few masks (the extra ones can be stored in a plastic bag in their backpack).

On Tuesday, October 19th, Walnut Square is hosting an outdoor Title 1 Night.  Each family will receive a pair of dice, a pack of cards, and many fun family games that you can play to help reinforce and practice math skills.  Please RSVP by signing and returning the bottom portion of the flyer that was sent home last week.

Thank you to families for your donations of towels, washcloths, paper towels, and wipes for Emmaus House.  We are collecting items for the month of October if you would like to donate.
