Walnut Square Routines and Procedures

  • Please send in a note with your child if there is a change in how he/she is getting home.
  • Students may be dropped off at 8:45 am when supervision begins.  Beginning Monday, September 20th, we ask that all families remain outside of school grounds during morning recess.  Thank you for your cooperation!
  • Please note that there is construction scheduled on the Main St. sidewalk.  Because of this, the bus drop off will be on North Ave in front of the parent drop off/pick up line (closer to the intersection of North and Main).  If you’d like to walk your child to the schoolyard, please park on one of the side streets.  Thank you for your patience and understanding with this.  When construction ends, bus drop off and pick up will resume on Main St.

iReady

Students were scheduled to take the iReady adaptive diagnostic this week.  We are currently having some intermittent connectivity issues and the diagnostic assessments have been rescheduled.  Our kindergarten schedule is below:

  • Thursday, September 30th iReady Reading Kindergarten
  • Tuesday, October 5th iReady Math Kindergarten
